Dottie: Spoiled! Spoiled! Spoiled! Dog Gone Funny: Snohomish, WA Edith & Bruce had 11-year-old Vanna. She excavated a huge cedar stump in their backyard dog pen. Although the opening seemed too small for a 135lb. Dane to get through...she did! Over time with help of a young girl, Iris, they enlarged the den into a dog condo!

I friend of mine had four big dogs and I had three. We would go to the lake and run up and down the shore, all of us barking at the top of our lungs. (Our lake often has virtually no one there so we didn’t bother folks.)
We would also hold howling meets with us starting howling and the dogs joining in. Lordy, those were fun days! Yeah, both for the dogs and for us too.
