I thought my short-haired dachsies would love the warm air from a blow-dryer set low (since they loved to lie on or near the warm air vents from the furnace), but they hated it. I think it was the noise, since every blow-dryer I’ve ever used is horrifically loud.

Part of prepping breed dogs for the show ring includes blowing their coats out with a Master Blaster. My Elkhound loves it.
