Brought back memories of Lady and the Tramp at the Italian Restaruant.

When my recently deceased wife and I had dogs and leftover “pastas” our dogs wouldn’t touch any of it UNLESS it had sauce on it. No wife and no dogs anymore and yes I miss my loving wife way more than I miss our dogs but I do miss them too.

Aren’t tomatoes dangerous for dogs to eat? Google says they are okay to eat, as long as they are ripe. Sauce is okay, but not too much, as the spices and other stuff in it may not be good for the dog or the person who has to pick up after the wolf either.

A neighbor of my SIL grew the best cherry tomatoes. She would bring some over for us to eat, and one for each dog as well. Silly dogs would just roll the little tomato around on the floor unless I first bit the skin so that they could taste the juice!

And some meatballs as well.
