It’s true, JOE, I am stereotyping a bit with Lila’s comment. But, actually, Boyd is a representation of me and a close friend of mine and we’re both fascinated by weddings, so Boyd’s not really a stereotype and Lila’s knowledge of gay men is mostly based on Boyd. Hope that forgives me a bit on the stereotyping ;-)
I like how Boyd can rattle off the details while not paying that much attention to the conversation in the first place. Some things just come naturally to folks…

Ideally, ditch the loser groom. Barring that, just brazen it out and hope Ohio is a community-property state (for the inevitable divorce).

I don’t know about stereotyping. Best wedding I’ve been to since my own was a gay wedding.
