Sure, live with the rich, gay guys and hang with Lila, go shopping and such. The best of both worlds. Lila obviously can’t afford the kind of care Annie needs, I doubt her cheapskate company insurance has kicked in yet and probably won’t cover Annie’s preexisting conditions anyhow.
HAWGOWAR If you got hit by a train last week and tried to buy insurance this week to pay for it, you should be thrown in prison for fraud. Pre-existing condition? Have the previous insurance company pay for it. Too cheap to buy insurance before the condition. Bad gamble, too bad. You got all the good things in life but gambled you wouldn’t get sick. Eighteen, hit me.
Who would you have take this loss?
Insurance company?
Stockholders?
Policy holders?
If you picked C you have won higher premiums because someone wanted something for nothing
Just to recap, Lila wasn’t approved when she initially went to the agency because she was unemployed. Now that she has a job, she’s fine, as the counselor stated yesterday. Remember, Lila already went through the process, but the agency decided to give custody of Annie to Dr. Fine and Alan. Now they’re proactively telling the agency that they are okay with transferring custody…or are they…
Wow, Lew must have really good insurance as a retired postman. My Mom-in-law has hers from Post Cereal and only pays 3 for a script and still complains about the awful prices. If Lew’s on medicare, he might want to bite his tongue about the something for nothing comment since his conservative buddies say that’s what Medicare is.
in this case, i certainly agree that the insurance shouldn’t be picking up her C. treatment any more than they should pick up my wife’s severely injured back. but Medicare and Medicaid and other C. foundations likely will and she will get something for nothing if you count her suffering as “nothing.” Oh, and the TAXPAYERS as opposed to the stockholders (who are being fooled if they own common stock) will pay for it.
Seriously — Lila’s in the USA, and as a ward of the state Annie’s treatment was being covered by the state, but that will stop when she’s adopted — it will be her parent’s responsibility — and _no_ insurance company will sign her up for cancer coverage, it _is_ a pre-existing condition and so it just won’t happen — she may get though the current round of treatment under existing coverage to make her “adoptable” but heaven help whoever has her if she has a relapse …
I opened the drama button link when it was posted the other day by Nighthawks and pushed it whenever I was needing a pick me up at work or someone who is really good at causing drama had walked through my office! LOL

For the girl’s sanity, I think it should be joint custody between the three. Even a cartoon needs some balance.

I agree. Sole custody is too much for Lila, but Annie needs her.
