When I was around the age Annie seems to be, I realized that my parents and all the other adults were lying to me about Santa Claus, so I went from there to the conclusion that they were lying about god, Jesus, angels and all that other stuff.
One reason I never told my kids there was a Santa Claus, runar.
I don’t ever remember believing Santa. And I think I’ve always known that angels are not anything like the popular conception of them.
As for Jesus and God…well I’ve always know they (he, she?) are real. Maybe that’s why I never needed Santa.
