Actually texting is stronger then ever. I know your all joking. Texting with teens is a teacher’s worst nightmare. Twitter uses a lot of texting. Hubby and I don’t text. Daughter does. She abosolutly doesn’t like talking on the phone.
I text moderately - it sometimes has certain advantages over phone calls. I don’t Twitter. I do Facebook - again, there are a few benefits which I can’t find any other way such as keeping up with friends more frequently who live far away. That’s how I reconnected with some old High School friends - which facilitated actual face-to-face getting together that otherwise would not have existed.
Still, moderation in all things.
I hate disembodied voices of all types. I think it is something like Will Roger’s statement, “The Democrats say they are solidly behind Mr. Wilson. I think he would rather have them out in front where he could keep an eye on them.”

Do you think people who can’t read get the full benefit of alphabet soup?
