Or anything else, for that matter.

Am I the only person who doesn’t really care for lobster. Now talk about king crab direct frrom Alaska, that’s when I go weak in the knees.

Annie’s starting to have more hair than me. I’m not sure if I like her as much any more.

Lila and Annie look much better in the usual 3/4 view than in the profile view of the last panel. I believe John has commented on the reasons for showing the profile view in prior strips.

But I can’t eat Homerus Americanus! I want to take one home for a pet, and name it Sam.

Loving this lobster debate. But to answer the last-panel question, yes, I have responded to comments before about seeing these characters in profile. Most readers have said they look odd and I mostly think it’s because you rarely see Lila and friends in profile. Part of the Lila styling is to always present characters in 3/4 view. The 3/4 view represents to me that we’re all incapable to facing life directly and rather live to three-quarters of our potential.

I love lobster. And I’m from Maryland where they have fantastic crab. It’s just a matter of personal taste.

If Dr. Klein is foolish enough to disregard that Lila is just using him as meal ticket, Lila should take advantage of him!

Im an artist too so I can see the problem right off.. the reason they look weird from the side is the space under her nose is too short.. but sometimes its hard to draw things in certain ways if your used to drawing them in others most of the time.. now with anne its the opposite.. too much room under the nose.. the nose is also too round it should be a tiny bit more upturned if you go b the 3/4 views.. but no one is perfect… and it is a comic so I just ignore these things.. eventually the artist will get so used to drawing his or her subjects they will be able to draw them in any position..it just takes a lot of practice.. they should maybe daw them in profile a bunch of times to get it down better..
