I’ve worked in two call centers. In both jobs I managed to get myself off of basic phones. In the first, I took control of the company newsletter and was able to charge most of my time to it… and in the second, at what was then GTE, I was quickly moved to the “escalation monitor,” meaning that when a customer called with a problem and we dispatched a tech, I called the tech at home if the tech didn’t go out in time. There are jobs in the call center besides straight phone-answering, and maybe they need to shift Lila to one of those.
oh, and don’t forget the praying bit.jeeeesus will keep her job and get her raise to boot, as long as she sends a check to jeeeesus’ ministries ; the bigger the check the more her raise*.*an actual statement made by television preacher(I heard this from my own damned-to-hell ears)
@Kab— Lila works in a customer service call center, not a sales call center, so the do-not-call list doesn’t apply. Customer call her. @Wyntre. It WOULD be very funny to see Lila promoted to the escalation monitor…hmmm….
