This is going to cause a lot of problems for both side of the families.

OK, this guy’s elitist attitude has always bothered me…. and now I feel vindicated.

(The Warhol School guy, not Dr Fine!)

That Warhol guy is pretty dang pushy. He should have cleared it with Lila first.

Since the Warhol School seems to be pretty elite and has a pretty steep tuition, I think Annie’s “Favorite teacher” could probably fund himself. And what nerve! Teach is putting his nose in something that’s none of his business

I don’t think Annie will like this either. She seemed to understand Lila’s decision. Betting Annie makes his life hell soon.

Look, the teacher talked to Annie first and she told him that she wanted to go but knew Lila didn’t have the dough. Then she told him about her life situation (two—no, three—gay dads). I agree that he should’ve discussed this with Lila first (and preferably with Annie, as she presumably spoke to him in confidence). Also, I have a friend who teaches at an exclusive private school. He does all right, but he isn’t exactly rolling in cash. They’re maybe a few thou more than public school teachers, but they don’t exactly command salaries to envy.

JWF has already said he made up the name of the Warhol School, so why would the Gaudi Institute be real??

And I don’t care WHAT Annie said —

there is NO excuse for this phone call. even if it turns out that he has Dr. Fine’s number from Annie’s records

(maybe cos he’s paying the tuition,)

and didn’t just look him up in the phone book.

Some are looking at it from the standpoint that the Dr is rich and Annie is deserving…..

but this is still a major breech of confidentiality and ethics.

Suppose you really adored an expensive house, but told the loan broker you couldn’t afford payments that big.

You say the fellow who co-signed your present mortgage is rich but you don’t want to ask for help.

So the broker CALLS him, without your permission, and asks him to help you pay, because you really deserve this wonderful place to live….

And then he asks to be included on the title himself!!!

Would you be happy with him???

Both names, The Andy Warhol School and The Gaudi Institute are fictional names, inspired by two trips. One to Pittsburgh to the Andy Warhol Museum and the other to Barcelona and La Sagrada Familia. Other names, however, are real and are usually places in Cleveland.
