Some of us like facial hair and sideburns… on some guys even a pony tail looks ok to me…. though a lot of pony-tailed guys my age are… um… amusingly bald on top.
Trace has a job; long hair doesn’t make someone a deadbeat. He’s also smart, creative and sometimes funny.
Unfortunately… sigh… he’s the same creep who tried to sneak behind Lila’s back and get Dr. Fine to send him to Europe… and I’ve never liked his arrogant attitude about the Warhol school.
Good for her for taking a chance on someone who’s making an effort on her. Besides, the part about him asking for funds to go to Europe was a punchline… (let’s remember this is a comic strip, please…)
… something just occurs to me … Hey, JWF … is this guy named “Trace” because he pretends to be an artist but actually “traces” other people’s work? figuratively or literally?
