Then get out of the way so they can look at Juan Carlos directly!

And six people, if I remember correctly, saw this supposedly unknown guy’s picture in the website contest, and guessed (or knew?) he was the director of the Gaudi institute.Have things been happening in this comic that I miss during my sleep?

Juan Carlos probably has his own mom. Calling her Lila makes more sense.

There are also all black colleges, what if we stated that we were opening an all white college. The uproar would be so ugly!~

Yeah, I was going to say mostly the same thing Blackwolff said. There are no longer any ALL Black colleges by design… and some that were actually created to admit all races were called “Black” by white people, who wouldn’t attend them.A lot of what are termed “historically Black” colleges were set up after the Civil War by order of the US government, in Southern states that refused admission to Black students to their white colleges. Since 1964, segregation either way has not been legal.I’m sure, Sassy, that you didn’t intend your remark to sound racist.

For those who wonder why there is a black Miss America contest, read this and get back to me: http://jezebel.com/5896408/racist-hunger-games-fans-dont-care-how-much-money-the-movie-made#

You keep naming institutions where the fix is already in,HP. Black women weren’t allowed to compete for Miss America until the 1970’s,and if you have an all-White school, naturally, you’ll have an all-White student union.

Yes,I am aware that 1970 was 42 years ago. And before then,Black women weren’t allowed to compete in the Miss America pageant. When you are barred from competing in an established competition, what do you do? You create your own competitions,or leagues like Miss Black America or the All Negro League when Blacks were barred from the NBL. It finally took a great act of courage to put Jackie Robinson into pro Baseball team and break the race barrier. The Harlem Globetrotters, though they were a show team, showed the world that Blacks had the talent to play pro Basketball. The list goes on,HP. And in case you haven’t noticed,no one White has ever knocked themselves out to be part of a Black/Asian/Latino competition, league, etc.

HP,insults with buzzwords like “brainwashed liberals” instantly and severely weaken your arguement. That entire tirade pretty much tells us all where your head is. You call yourself a victim because you were bussed, but think about how the Black kids felt.I’ll bet they felt pretty victimized, too. You can’t tell me that they didn’t have complaints about the unbelievable discrimination and racism they suffered at the hands of a White majority wherever they went, even before they got to a White school. And though I didn’t bring it up,there is no justification for slavery of any kind. As for your last question, why do we need “beauty pageants” at all?
