I just thank God for idiots like Lila. If she didn’t pay $100 for a dress that contains $5 worth of materials, someone in Bangladesh wouldn’t have a job sewing that dress. And, I couldn’t buy it 6 months later at Good Will, or the Salvation Army for the $5 it’s actually worth, then turn around and send the money I saved to someone who needs it.
They are paid well enough that they want to do it instead of going to school, which would certainly be a better option, but it beats starving. My opinion of the people who keep the extra $95 for themselves instead of paying for that schooling and giving the kids time to attend is unprintable, but guess who I’m sending the money I save on the dress to.

I love The Salvation Army. Helped our family when I was young. Never forgot it to this day.
