An Android phone can be had much cheaper… and it’s arguably just as good…

It won’t be the top of the line “flagship” model, but it gets the job done, for hundreds less…

though it’s still more expensive than a flip phone, and you do need a data plan.

I’m like Boyd, a flip phone fills all my needs and it fits in my pocket. Plus it cost $10.

I agreed with Boyd right up until my wife insisted on getting me a new phone for Christmas and I learned about VR.

Why is Lila promoting the overpriced Apple Iphone when android smarphones are a better value?

We “inherited” a BlackBerry smart phone, but gave it up because the battery didn’t stay charged for more than 2 days — this even with a brand new battery.

Got a pair of flip phones, they’re all we really need, one is used much more than the other, the other is mostly for getting calls from wife to pick her up at the store doors…

Data plans on a fixed income (retired), not worth it to us….

The flip phone is logical for me. I don’t need anything more expensive.

I didn’t have a flipping cellphone until one day my fuel pump quit in the middle lane of the 401 just outside Toronto, with transport trucks on both sides of me. Fortunately, my son and his phone were with me, and my family then insisted that I finally get my own phone. Use it maybe once or twice a year, mostly to call CAA when the car breaks down. I hate phones of any type.

Since I don’t particularly like talking on the phone, a flip phone is practically useless
