Is anyone surprised at the strip’s total acceptance of dating a wealthy man for the sole purpose of enjoying the benefits of his $$$? Lila’s described Dr. Klein as a boring, nerdy momma’s boy. The only reason I can see that she’s dating him is that he’s a source of endless expensive dinners, dancing at the Ritz Carlton, etc., activities this teacher will never be able to offer. None of the characters ever call her out for using Dr. Klein that way.
To answer your question not just No, but HE!! NO! If Lila and the other characters were a well adjusted and normal this strip it would be about as funny and interesting as a dog t#rd in the back yard of a rescue facility.
