    Reading a WW2 story about POWs in the Philippines, detainees were denied banana peels. Fried banana peel was considered a treat before the war.

    All those apocalyptic movies we’ve seen over the years were not depicting the results of war or disease, but merely the results of environmental activists returning civilization to a new Paleolithic era.
