I had a boss like that; I swear he went to medical school to study penmanship. I worked for him for about 4 years and still could only decipher about 90% of his hieroglyphs.
Used to have a VP at the former day job who’s handwriting would have given Imhotep fits. His Secretary and I were the only ones who could read it. If she’d take time off, guess who got to type his letters…. WHY did I tell ’em I could type? (My handwriting was as bad as his.)

Doing away with signatures has been a boon to identity thieves. Now we will do away with cursive entirely.

Yeah, teaching cursive… and reading and mathematics and music and geography and Latin etc. got in the way of sports.
