VERY good question! I love the commercials that go on forever with the fatal side effect potential, and you never find out what the drug is supposed to CURE!
Reminds me of a couple of things, “Happy Fun Ball” for one. But there’s also a David Brenner appearance on Letterman where he read the side effects of an anti-depressant drug. By the time he had finished reading the list, he exclaimed, “These are all the reasons I’m taking this drug!”

My excuse for not using drugs is that I would rather learn what caused the symptom and adjust my diet than take drugs that only affects the symptom.

Side effects outweigh the benefits when a lawyer shows up.

TMI, Dragon…A better question is, “Will the benefits actually outweigh the side effects?” So far, it never looks that way.

My heart is not broken over psoriasis, I don’t need a drug to give me a heart attack trying to cure it.

Metformin is tough on your kidneys. My Doc took me off metformin ’cause of the side effect. Good luck…

The side effects start outweighing the benefits as soon as you start taking the stuff.

Steve Martin summed it up in “Side Effects” from the New Yorker in 1998. You can find it on the Net.
