Ah, you mean someone in their 60s.
My sister sent me a T-shirt that I wear often. It reads, “Growing old in mandatory, growing up is optional.” She knows me well.
I take the phrase “Child of God” literally, especially the child part. I am getting older every day, but I will never be old.
Hallmark should add a couple of new categories like “young at heart” and “growing pains.”
Kind of appropriate for me as my daughter’s b’day is today! She keeps me thinking young and doing fun stuff (she is now 34).
