Pile enough good medium-sized ideas together and they can make a great big new idea.

And everyone wants some quick wins. Nobody wants the longer term, slow fixes.

You cannot have vast accomplishments with half-vast ideas.

Yeah, when will the boss appreciate you going that extra half-mile.

It used to be about the "big picture’. Now it’s just selfies.

Big ideas is how management justifies their existence, at least to themselves and hopefully to upper management. They don’t do any actual work, so they have to look effective by just thinking, and big thinks are more impressive than little ones.
