I’m retired. I do that all the time.

Nothin’ and no; I ain’t finished yet!.

I’m on vacation. It’s a whole week of nothing. I would not want it any other way.

Actually, my trouble is deciding if I’m on a weekend or weekday. I mean, which Saturday is it anyway??

9 hours of work on Sat, Sun was up and a quick breakfast, drive up the Gorge for a picnic from East Winds, Ice Cream cones from East Winds then back to town. Shopping for sun glasses for the 6yo, then a stop at the new arcade in VanMall. Home, shrimp for din and back to bed. I didn’t have time to do nothing this last weekend. Wouldn’t change it, except for maybe the working on Sat.

Boss enters the shop and says ’Hey Joe, whatcha doin?"

‘Nothin boss’

How about you Mike, whatch you doin?’

‘Helpin Joe, boss.’

Didn’t you come up for air?

Doing nothing is hard. You can’t stop and rest.
