Just my two cents here. But staying awake during the day sounds like is your problem.
I get up at 5 AM workout, walk 4 miles, work a 10-hour day. At 10 PM I fall asleep in about 2 minutes. Staying awake that last hour is a struggle as I get older.
Falling asleep is harder. Just go to a meeting when they turn the lights off for the projector your asleep
When that happens…I do sleep.
Try not to lose any sleep over it.
Quit watching the news.
Ease off on the day drinking.
I’ve wondered that for years!
It isn’t the falling asleep, it’s the STAYING asleep…
