Where in the world are they? Is that meant to be a supermarket door? Based on the brick wall, they’re … leaving? And it’s a bright sunny day inside the store, based on the yellow? Is that their grocery shopping? is the grocery store playing music so loud you can hear it outside?
Greg Kihn from the Greg Kihn band was the morning DJ at a classic rock station I use to listen to. I told him he made the big time, I heard his music in the Safeway.
There’s been a couple of times when I’ve had the same idea. Not always grocery stores, but commercial establishments that actually played good music! Amazing.

Usually very non-descript music.

If they did that you would walk around your house all day pushing a shopping cart.

Are they playing all of Weird Al Yankovic’s food parody songs?

Can’t recall even one grocery that has piped in music. Thankfully not one.

We were at Mayo Clinic yesterday. They play 60’s Muzak, very soothing. Nice to hear the older music.

My local Lowe’s plays mostly’60s and ‘70s oldies. There’s been occasions where I had to extend my shopping until the song ended

our local five and dime drugstore plays bossa nova, which is a lovely change from the japanese pop noise that most places bombard you with…

My local Grocery Outlet has a pretty neat one.
