I still say there’s no such thing as 110%

I once had a manager tell me “You do what we pay you to do, and that’s not good enough“

I was thinking more like 75%.

If you work 110%, then I can work 90%. (OK, the math doesn’t quite work, but close enough.)

Should be 2 women in that shot. Women are rarely compensated the same as their male counterparts.

I once said pretty much the same thing, and was fired at the end of the day.

I don’t need a job. I am retired, but I am looking for work. Therefore I can be snarky on interviews. So when I am asked “Are you willing to put in overtime?” I respond, “How often is overtime required and how much is it? What is the hourly expectation for this job?”

I can then relax for the rest of the interview knowing that they won’t make an offer.

Don’t be spending it before you get it.

100% is operating within design limits. 110% subjects to stress beyond design and causes reduced MTBF and possibly catastrophic failure beyond repair.

Guess again,mope….

And not a single one of them ever asked “Of what?”.
