I used to have a hiking buddy who was a morning person (she loved getting up at 4am). I told her that while I am fine with getting up early for a reason (hiking, trips, etc), don’t expect me to be bubbly and cheerful the way she was. It was quite annoying to have someone bouncing around in my face expecting me to be the same way at 5am.
