Try to get online help from Microsoft. I’m going on a month and a half now for the same little issue. They’re all Japanese with American first names. The form letters they email make it seem like they understand you, until you ask a question about the big missing information part in the middle of a major operation they insist you must do, which could leave you with no computer if you screw it up. Then they switch you to someone new who jerks you around for another 3 weeks and passes you off again to a new one. At this point, I don’t care if I can’t get their updates anymore!
This is why I think it would have been a perfect job for Francis.

I figured that’s where those 30,000 jobs went. At my former employer several thousand jobs went mostly to the Phillipines

It’s called “Tier 2 Support”, with a T. You might get better results with that.
