She had children to feed her need to nag and belittle not one, but three dependent (one more than the next), people who are obligated by birth to put up with her, and she never lets them forget it. Right Joe?
Now my imagination kicks in - She knew darned well that nobody would ever employ her for long, so she seduced poor Mr. Hobbs, a semi wealthy, but rather homely and unassuming little man, who she spotted as a good mark, and intentionally got drunk in Vegas, and tricked into marriage by being nice for about 20 minutes. Doesn’t Mr. Hobbs remind you of the guy on Bugs Bunny with the little hat, who says “Mmmyes dear”, as she chases him around, yelling, with the frying pan? And one day he disagreed with her and ended up in a deep freeze downstairs. She got the house, the money, and the three kids, who are obligated for life to put up with her and her “quirks”, just like she planned it. You can’t get that with any CAREER! - The End! : )
