I remember years ago when I would buy drag racing tires (wrinkle walls for you non racers) from a wholesaler and get the ‘Blems" at half the retail price, blems were blemished tires – like off center letters or none altogether or the sidewalls had imperfections that had nothing to do with the performance of the tire. Btw there’s a Bob’s Variety Store near me that sells those handkerchiefs lol.
