The spirits of all three shall strive within me. Oh, Jacob Marley! Heaven and the Christmas time be praised for this!... He was so fluttered and glowing with his good intentions that... Ok, Jarvis! Enough! But us in here... Up to this point, a diverting tale of spirits and phantasms. But this final chapter, in which Scrooge goes all namby-pamby well, I'm afraid it strays too far into the realm of pure poppycock for my taste.

Jarvis is presumably of English extraction, and doesn’t really relish Young Master dissing Dickins. Perhaps Jarvis should introduce Sedgie to the lovable 1500-year-old green witch (of the Enchanted Forest rather than Greenwich), Broom-Hilda, who today expresses similar non-canonical views about “how to end A Christmas Carol for today’s reader.”

I haven’t decided whether Jarvis has a abnormally weak chin ,or, a extraordinarily large adams apple..
