Being a non-native speaker, the word ‘eject’ reminds me of how I first learned it: cassette players. Or Kitt’s eject button to get rid of the dangerous passenger. Two giveaways about my age.

An old crossword puzzle from the Folgers time capsule; what other froth will our Time Travelers find? Maybe all its secrets will spurt forth at once….

You mean jetsam? And that’s six letters no matter how you spell it.

I’m with Mr Nobody. Vomit is all about ejecting, but not necessarily as foam, and spurt is ejecting, but generally as a jet or stream. Spume as a noun is the foam on a wave, and as a verb is to eject foam similar to that on the wave. Also, that’s a common cross-word puzzle clue for “spume”.

I was going to say “spray” but think we need the other clues.
