Is it safe to drive with those tiny glasses? Oh, sure... Basically, I can see all the important stuff... Just give me a heads up if there's anything in my peripheral vision that-- Hey! Hey! Look out for the... Klunk Klunk Klunk Do I have to take my eye break for animals sticker off the back?... No. Fortunately, it was just a string of cones guiding traffic into a sobriety checkpoint...

@ Common- Great story!! Think yourself lucky she hadn’t been drinking and that the cop had borrowed Monty’s glasses!

I foresee a very unpleasant session with the screws for Monty…. Maybe he will then see the light.

He’s a brave man to get in the passenger seat after realizing Monty can’t see anything.

Being British, the driver is obviously on the wrong side of the car. You needed to say “Monsieur le volant est par ici” unless you were drinking that is..(Sir, the steering wheel is over here.)

My tiny glasses are fine for driving, so far as I can tell. Where they really bug me is at the grocery store. I used to be able to see the stuff on both sides of the aisle, but now when I’m looking for something, i find myself turning my head back and forth and back and forth, since I have to be looking directly at something to see it.

Years ago, one of the field sobriety test the Sheriff or Police would give was standing on one leg for 10 or so seconds.I was lucky, because many times in High School marching band we would have to do the same procedure..I passed the test that night and resolved not to drink and drive..

“I was driving my British bought Jag…”.Let’s see, British Jag (RH drive assumed), French road at night and it was dark. French officer goes to the left side of the car where the steering wheel is supposed to be and tests your non drinking girlfriend..Nothing wrong as I see it…
