In the amount of time it took to attach and run that hose, plus the expense in letting the A/C run all night (from the open door) and security risk (from the open door) it would be far faster and cheaper to just replace the faucet. Even if you need to hire a plumber to do it. (And let’s face it, if you’re even the least bit handy, replacing a bathroom faucet is no big deal. Just take it slow and carefully follow the instructions that come with it.)
