It is hard to believe that Monty actually gave (or got a kiss) from Daphne. If he did, he probably etched their name in the tree and poor Daphne, to avoid the embarrassment had to hack her initials out so as others should not laugh at her…..
I was a burnout and constant truant in high school and had to go to summer school after my class graduated to get enough credits to get my diploma. I used to pride myself on not going to reunions, but last October, I finally went to my 40th. It was the first one I’d ever attended. It was very fun. I saw friends I hadn’t seen in 40 years, and nobody was uptight. There were no cliques, no snooty types, and nobody tried to show off how successful they were in life. No head trips. Everybody had grown up and just wanted to have fun and say hi. I wish I had gone to more of them.

I went back to my old high school and it was still depressing. Actually more so.

I suspect that Daphne might have had just a WEE bit of an overbite.

The “edit” function is very important.
Besides, Monty, when did you last see the living Daphne?
