I haven’t got much experience with Sedgewick, but I don’t think that just because he’s a bit cultured it means he’s obnoxious.

On the whole, maybe it were better if Sedgwick had buried his misbegotten ceramic endeavors. Then, at least, some future archaeologist, centuries from now, would treat them with the respect Sedgwick thinks they deserve, though I do not….
