Over the weekend I saw an ad for a “phone lanyard”…looks like the thing you put trade show badges in, i.e, BIG. Kinda like idiot mittens for your phone.
Once had an employee at a car parts store help me change a battery in a hard to reach place. He dropped a socket and it lodge right into the shifting mechanism for the car. Couldn’t get it in gear until the manager came out and figured it out!
Feeling your pain Monty. Drop things thru the engine bay all the time. Find most on the floor. Sometimes things end in neverland, never to be seen again.

Klutzy much, Monty? Lessee. DIY fanbelt repair: save may a couple hundred bucks. Lost smartphone: costs upwards of six hundred bucks.
Way to save money, Whizzo!
