Must be fun (sometimes) to actually have a lap kitty. I have 4, ranging from a 9yr old tortie, 2 7yr old males, and a 2 yr old pibald black/white male. They all enjoy affection. But they want to be sitting beside or otherwise near you to get their lovin’. If I pick up one to hold it, boom… they are off to the next thing! “Let me down”. The baby is the closest. He sometimes will sit still on my lap for a FEW minutes. Especially if I offer some chin and head rubs.
