YESTERDAY’S COMIC WAS ALSO A RE-RUN–HOW TO AVOID RUNNING OUT OF GASOLINE. IF WE’RE GOING TO HAVE RE-RUNS, LET’S HAVE SOME BY THE ORIGINATOR, BUD FISHER. IN THE 1920’S THE DAILY STRIP RAN ON THE SPORTS PAGE. THAT WAS BECAUSE IT ORIGINALLY GAVE RACING TIPS AND THEY JUST NEVER GOT AROUND MOVING IT TO THE COMICS PAGE. IT WAS PROBABLY THE FIRST STRIP TO PORTRAY A U. S.PRESIDENT. IT SHOWED JEFF IN BED WITH H. HOOVER ON INAUGURATION DAY.

As Jackie Gleason once said: “give me the good old days when a pair of boobs were a couple of dumb guys!”
