From the police officer’s uniform, I would guess the late 30’s or early 40’s. Long coats for police officers were fashionable back then.
The signature, which is in front of Jeff’s legs in the last panel, says “Fisher.”
Right, but by then, I am sure multi-millionaire Fisher was not within arms length of pencil, ink or brush.
I consider myself fairly strip literate, but I have not idea who Pierre S. De Beaumont is…..
