I once was waiting to make a right turn at an intersection. This guy comes up and tries to squeeze by me along the burm. I did not see him and when the light changed we both turned right and collided. I was on the road, he was not. I was ticketed for the accident. It was explained to me this way, since most people drive down the burm and turn right it is considered a turn lane even though it is not marked that way. I still to this day am flabbergasted by this ruling. Oh well, only in America.

In the last panel, you just know what the lawyer is thinking: “How much can I squeeze out of this rube?”
