Good morning WW2, Tog,#2, #3 and #6, it’s 3:38 a.m. in Oregon and luckily so far I haven’t walked into any neighbor’s house yet. The “Midnight Skulker” strikes again! Not avery good welcome awaits our Jeff from the old Fogeys.

    Awkward!

This is one of the funniest strips I have ever read (apart from the old and the best ever Andy Capp)

Hopefully Mr Fogey won’t get lost again.

Better times. No one locked their front door. Or maybe Mutt was just a dummy.

Well! These days in age it is best to keep your doors locked. Never know what will happen to you.

First time I’ve seen Mutt actually sleep in the same bed as his wife.

I am probably telling on myself, but I am old enough to actually remember a time when most people NEVER locked the doors to their houses, cars, or anything else. Of course, I lived in small rural towns. In those days, when you walked down the street, you saw all sorts of cars with their windows rolled down, doors not locked, etc. During that time, I had a friend who lived in a suburb of Denver and I spent a week with her on her parents farm. They had a milk man who delivered fresh milk to them every day. The milk man would come into the house while most of the family was still asleep and put the fresh milk into the refrigerator and take away the used milk bottles. He drove a horse-drawn wagon and was very quiet when he went around his rounds. Nowadays, most people would not want to take a chance on a stranger coming inside their home in order to deliver the family’s milk while the family was still in bed. Even more importantly, most milk men nowadays would be AFRAID to go inside a strange house in order to deliver milk! We were living in paradise, and didn’t know it!
