$10 today would not cover his expenses – probably not even cover his mal-practice insurance pro rated by number of patients seen. (The figure: Yearly insurance divided by number of patients seen in a year was apx $5 re an Ann Landers column about 15 years ago. And that was for a general practice – a specialist pays even more.)
