    Good morning Everyone……

Well, we’ll be leaving in about another hour, for the San Diego trip for the Wedding!!!! Our first stop tonight is in Logan, Utah, where we will enjoy the best ice cream in the world…….at the Aggie Store on campus at the Utah State University Creamery. We’ve been stopping there for the last 42 or 43 years!

Good morning, David. I’m planning to go to Salzgiiter, (near Hanover), Germany sometime this summer. I’ve never been to Germany and don’t speak Deutch, so I’m looking forward to any advice from you when you return.

Rita, if you get a chance stop by. You know where to find me between 9AM & 2PM.David, I didn’t get on yesterday, so belated congratulations on your anniversary. We’re working on 31 years together, so maybe we’ll catch up. My brothers and I (and our spouses) took our folks out to dinner on their 60th, and we figured out that between the 4 couples at that table we had 142 years of marriage. In other news, our closing has been pushed back to the 27th, but I got a call yesterday that our loan has been approved, so it looks like it will happen!!!

Arye – My advice is to feel free to depend on friends who can help you with interpretation. Nearly everyone in Germany knows some English but I found that few are proficient. Don’t try to drive the Autobahn without first learning the rules. Be sure to use a GPS. Don’t bother with traveler’s checks, but keep your money in a safe place and in several places. Be ready to pay through the nose for gas. The dollar is only worth about .7 Euro and gas is about 1 and a half Euros per liter. A liter is a little over a quart. Expect to see a lot of pay toilets and be ready to tip the worker a half Euro for each use. Bottled water is fizzy, so if you don’t want fizzy water, try to find the word “still” on the label, which means it does not have gas in it. When you go through customs, have all your pocket items in a ziplock bag so you can quickly put it in the tray while you remove your shoes and laptop. Don’t have any liquids or sharp objects in your carry-ons. Have fun and good luck.

@Arye UygurGot it, as you kknow if you checked your e-mail. I have had to miss a lot of videos from my GoComic friends because of my dial-up dinosaur computer.Too bad more of us don’t communicate that way, but I realize that paranoia exists here in the cyber-world, Lots of it!

@Arge Uyger, again:I’m sure that if you put it on line somewhere, and gave the Vagabonds a link to it, they would find it fascinating. :-)))
