Hi Montana Lady. I’ve been reading in the New York Times that grizzly bears are appearing in larger numbers in your state/

Good morning, Vagabonds,I may have posted the following too late for everyone to see, so I’ll re-post it sans some of my typos:Some of you may know I’ve spend the last few months copying my 100s of VHS tapes to DVDs. I have about 50 left. Today, I began recording a tape with it’s beginning missing, so I have no way of knowing the film’s name. Here is the description of the film in case someone can tell me the film’s name: it seems to take place in South Africa. A black couple wearing heavy woolens are walking in a desert- like area carrying a lot of stuff that looks junky. The man has a grey grizzled beard. In the middle of the movie is some folk music, a type I’ve never heard before. At the end of the movie the couple are again walking. The woman says, “Next time you want to kill me make sure you do it.” They continue walking and the woman drops part of her load on the path.

Can anyone identify the name of this film?

Arye, would you happen to have “General Spanky?” It was an Our Gang feature done in the 30’s. It’s the only Our Gang episode I’m missing.

Yes, Bill. We are loving Henderson. Far enough away from the tourist areas to be a nice quiet little town, and close enough to find some entertainment when you want it. Scoped out the nearest markets, laundromats, hardware stores, pizza delivery, etc. Moving our stuff slowly, so I’m still in Victorville for now – won’t move the big stuff (like the washer & dryer) until around Christmas. Had my first trial run of working at home today, and it worked well. So, I’ll keep my job here in VV after I’ve moved to Henderson for good (best part is that it was the boss’ idea, so he really wants it to work). Now all we have to do is upgrade the AC…..(somebody closed the two living room vents that are about 14 feet off the floor – I suspect we’ll have to hire someone to open them since my tallest ladder is only 8 feet and it’s in VV.)
