Good morning Vagabonds. After a warm, rainy day yesterday morning, the sun came out and it looks like a pretty dry week with temps in the mid 50’s.I don’t know if it will extend up to the NEK Mark, but one can hope.

Good morning, Vagabonds. Woodworker, I think we in New York City have the same weather as you do. I’ve spent the last 6 days reading all the back issues of the NY Daily News my friend left me. Funny, even though I thought I read every installment of some of the comics online, I think some of the newsprint copies are different.

Morning, Vagabonds. Well, I’ve decided to come out of retirement. I told the bish that I’d like a part time appointment and yesterday I was introduced to the SPR of a little country church not far from here. I’ll start in a couple of weeks.

Good morning Vagabonds..Mostly cloudy with spotty sunshine. Temps in the forties. So yes woodworker we’er getting a reprieve too..Yah, I’m with you Arye, the weather patterns won’t change to much between New York and New England even in the north..Congrats on you new Charge David. I’ve always felt Pastors don’t retire, they go into pulpit supply. ;-).Oky doky, a big howdy to all the later comers, cause me gone by-by..\\//_

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

David, best of luck in your new pulpit.

I went to a “National Day of Prayer” event here in Henderson yesterday, my first. I found it very moving and I was glad I was there.

I was just looking at a time zone map, and going from East to West, this country covers 7 time zones. (Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii-Aleutian and Hawaii) If each National Day of Prayer even lasted an hour as ours did, then this country was covered in prayer for seven solid hours yesterday. Pretty good, if you ask me!

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Looks like I’m the late “sleeper” this morning. I woke up around 7, put on my sleep mask, and whoa……it was 8:30! It felt soooooooooo good!

Well, Woodworker, Arye, and Mark…….you all should be getting gentle weather for a while. We got all the way up to 73 yesterday, and supposed to be the same today, and much cooler for the weekend. I guess that’s when the rain will be showered upon us.

David, I’m so happy for those folks in the Little Country Church! They are getting one really compassionate Minister. Best of luck to you!

And, Jan, what a great observation! We need all the prayer that can be mustered up.

Just coming back with a correction of the temps in the following week. It’s supposed to be in the middle 60’s, not the 50’s. That is more inline with seasonal temps. It’s about time.
