Good morning, Vagabonds. My Passover shopping at CostCo was not as hectic as my shopping there before New Years Eve. I did spend $172 mostly on Passover stuff. I still must buy the fruits, vegetables and eggs as Passover comes closer.
Howdy Vagabonds..About 7 outside this morning, no wind to speak of..I think we talk about the weather because it’s right outside and it’s something we can speak of with some knowledge. At least that sounded good at this time..Now for the Maple report: Our man Gary (morning weather guy on tv) said it will be above freezing for the weekend, sweet news..And you all have a sweet weekend..ttfn
We’re supposed to have rain/snow Sunday night into Monday. It will be fun, since we’ve been near 60 for quite a few days now.
Watched an cute oldie last night: “Sweet Rosie O’Grady” with Betty Grable, Robert Young, and Adolphe Menjou. Other than knowing the song, never saw or heard of the film before. It was pleasant and funny in parts. A good evening’s entertainment especially because it was only 80 minutes long!
Arye, I was at Costco this week, and noticed all of the stuff for Passover. There was everything you could think of all over the store!
A friend of mine is one of those folks who give out samples at Costco. On Wednesday, he was giving out pieces of Dove chocolate. He was the most popular man in the store. He didn’t even have time to get his sign out (saying how much the candy costs) before he was inundated by folks sampling his wares.
I am looking out the window at a beautiful blue sky and it is already 66 degrees at 8:30 AM. I expect it will get up to the high 70’s today. It’s been nice being able to leave my doors and windows open in the afternoons.
We watched an wonderful old movie last night, too. I got my copy of the 50th anniversary edition of “Sound of Music” in the mail on Wednesday and we watched it last night. It is one of my favorite movies. Our old copy was VHS and had deteriorated to the point where we couldn’t watch it anymore.
We also got our income tax refund on Wednesday. Woo Hoo!

Good morning Vagabonds. The cold weather continues with some rain on Sat. Snow’s going down but the street still isn’t wide enough for two cars.
