Hi Ho Vagabonds..It’s 8 degrees on the last hump day of march. We don’t have any camels around here, but, we do have a mountain named Camel’s Hump. If you have a Vermont quarter you can see it. I still say it should have been Mt. Mansfield..Enjoy your day. ;-).ttfn

    Morning, Village!

Yesterday the utility company came out to trim the trees to prevent power outages. In the process, they broke a utility pole in half and knocked out the power for the entire village. 700 houses were without power for half the day. That’s efficient work for you.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

David, the (lack of) efficiency of governmental agencies never ceases to amaze me. Today I get to try my luck at DMV…..

Rita, your ghost town sounds like fun. I read not too long ago that in White Pine county, NV there are more ghost towns than inhabited towns. We saw some of them from the train excursion we took a few months ago. We weren’t allowed to visit, though and they are not accessible unless you have an off-road vehicle.

We went to PF Chang’s to celebrate Michael’s birthday yesterday. Great food! The only thing we don’t like about the place is that there is no noise mitigation at all. The sound level in there makes conversation difficult.

The weather is continuing to hover between 78 and 82 most days. It has been wonderful to be able to keep doors and windows open for the fresh air.
