Not going to be a good one here today. Going to rain hard here in the morning with the possibility of some sun in the late after noon. Temp in low 60’s.
We avoided the floods, but the 20 hour power outage caused the community’s generators to fail, resulting in our losing water pressure and our water reservoir to become polluted. We can drink bottled water only, unless we boil the water before drinking it.

It is difficult for me to say “Happy” Memorial Day. It is a day for sad reflection rather than celebration. Thank you to all the veterans, not just the ones who made that ultimate sacrifice.
It’s a holiday and surprise, surprise, the trash man came anyway. You should have seen me scramble!
