Silly me……I thought winter is over! We got another 2 inches yesterday, with the 3rd wave expected today. Everything is very pretty, and not a patch of ground to be seen. Lovely!
Remember about a month ago I mentioned pre-cooking (3 to4 minutes) various sizes of potatoes and then freezing them? Well, I took out some slices last night, and made scalloped potatoes. Absolutely perfect! And they cooked in half the time. It just takes a little effort to prepare them for the freezer, but the savings is definitely worth it.
Nothing on my agenda today. It’s a good day to get a bunch of computer stuff done. Oh joy.
Well, yesterday I found out that I really don’t like my Beretta. I have a blister on the finger that fits below the trigger guard because the gun is just too small for my hand. Back to the drawing board. Tom had several guns he pulled out to let me practice with, and there were a couple of them I really liked. As for the practice itself, it was fun and really worth the effort. I think I am going to get one of those laser bullets so I can do more at home.
Yesterday got up to 86! The ten day forecast is all in the low 80’s. And it won’t even be spring yet by the end of that ten days.
We are on an RV hunt again. We have decided that if we can find one that we really like, we will trade in the one we have. We have rekindled our plan to move into it full-time and are aware that we will either be putting money into the existing one that needs some major repairs or buying a new one. Wish us luck!
