    Good morning Vagabonds.

Still going to be cold today with temp in low 50’s and windy.

Getting a little tired with temps up and down every day. I hope it won’t be like this all spring and into summer.

Have a good day everyone and especially all of you traveling.

    Hello there Vagabonds

The weather looks a little ragged this morning with highs in the upper 40s. So far the forecast for the weekend is sunny and warming up. (good, good, good)

Hump day is going tobe normal, nothing to stand up and scream about.

Have a wonerful day folks and God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

My “toddler” did it again, this time while Michael was IN the bed. That bedspread of mine has been washed 3 times in the past 5 days. I’m running out of ideas. When Blaze had his bladder trouble, he did the same thing. So I am going to take Buddy to the vet and have him checked out. In the meantime it’s plastic tarps and closed doors.

We visited the Oakland Nature Preserve with the pastor of the church we have been attending and his wife. It nestles up against Lake Apopka and is a beautiful natural setting with a boardwalk that goes 2/3 of a mile out to a gazebo set on the edge of the lake. It is supposed to be a great place to see wildlife, especially alligators. We didn’t see too much, a turkey vulture, a couple of small birds, a big corn snake and some baby gators. We didn’t see the big ones because (as we were told) the wind was too cold and the water too choppy for them so they stayed submerged. There was a cluster of 4 babies and a juvenile (about 2 feet long) in a warmer puddle further from the lake. The Preserve has a nice website if anyone wants to check it out. (www.oaklandnaturepreserve.org) Then we went to lunch with Carlos and Wanda at a pizza place in Winter Garden, FL. We want to go back there to visit the railroad museums in town. All in all we had a very nice afternoon.

Once we got home, Michael got hit with a terrible sore throat. It came on him so quickly, and by this morning has degenerated into a bad head cold. So now he’s in bed for the day. Kinda puts an end to any sightseeing for a while. We’ll move about 20 miles down the road on Saturday, so we’ll still be in this area for another 3 1/2 weeks at least.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
