Forecast, partly cloudy , high near 85.

The Champlain Valley Exposition (fair) started yesterday until Labor Day. Another fair in Lancaster, NH also begins next week. It’s that time of year. (^.^)

Well, it’s Saturday, grocery day got to start my list. Y’all have the best day you can, and may God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

After re-reading my comment about Maine yesterday I can see that it came out wrong. Maine is beautiful and we are enjoying our stay here. It’s just that it really isn’t all that different from NH or Vermont, scenery wise. (If you don’t include the ocean)

We went out to dinner yesterday afternoon at DimIllo’s in Portland Harbor. It’s an old riverboat that is floating permanently moored in the marina. The food was great and we had a wonderful time. Then Don took us on a driving tour of Old Port and Portland, which included a stop at a couple of lighthouses. Again, we really enjoyed it. One of the lighthouses is called “Bug Light” and Don says it is because it attracts so many insects. It isn’t as far out on the water as most lighthouses, so perhaps they are just noticed more. Then again, my brother has a really odd sense of humor.

Today we are planning a day of rest at the RV. Don & Ruth will come here for dinner later this afternoon. I’m thinking of spending some time in the hot tub. The weather should be perfect for it.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good Autumn morning, Vagabonds,

It was 79 yesterday, and down to 46 this morning. That cold front came through, and destroyed one of our planters that had a bunch of beautiful begonias in it. Now I have to find another pot to put them in.

Our fair seasons are over. I do enjoy walking around and seeing all the exhibits and the Rodeos! But this year, Jack is in no shape to walk.

We’re taking a field trip today down to Butte to our favorite meat market. There’s something about their beef that makes it outstanding. Local beef and grass fed. We’ve done taste tests with grocery store stuff vs. theirs, and they win hands down every time. So, since we defrosted and cleaned out the freezer, it’s time to fill it up again. Of course, we’ll stop for lunch at this cool restaurant that is made from an old bank. Vault and all. Love the history of it all.

    xoxoxo Happy Trails.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Going to be a hot one today with temp in mid 80’s.

At least it isn’t raining so that we can have the party outside in the yard.

Rita, I sent you a reply yesterday in regard to your question about my tomatoes but it didn’t go through for some reason.

Our plants are all about 5 to 6 feet tall and loaded with tomatoes of all sizes as we have about six different varieties.

Only two have ripened yet but it won’t be long for the others.

Every one have a good day.
